The Augmented Human Development Index (AHDI) is a summary measure of historical achievement in four key dimensions ofhuman development: a long and healthy life, being knowledgeable, being free and having a decent standard of living. Thisindicator is compared to a metric that excludes the standard of living dimension, measured by GDP per capita.
