Suicide rate vs. income inequality, 2022

The Gini coefficient measures inequality on a scale from 0 to 1. Higher values indicate higher inequality. Suicidedeaths are underreported in many countries due to social stigma and cultural or legal concerns. This data is basedon modeling of global suicide patterns, and includes adjustments and extrapolations that aim to account for missingdata and underreporting.
