DHS literacy rates are defined as the percentage of male survey respondents, aged 15 and above, who can read a whole orpart of a sentence showed. UNESCO literacy rates correspond to the percentage of mean, aged 15 and above, who say theycan read and write with understanding a short simple statement about their everyday life.
