The WHO recommends particulate matter (PM2.5) concentrations of 5 micrograms per cubic as the lower range of air pollution exposure, over which adversehealth effects occur. The WHO has set interim targets of exposure for 35µg/m³, 25µg/m³, 15µg/m³, and 10µg/m³.
