Total annual DALYS (Disability-Adjusted Life Years) from mental health and substance use disorders. These include depressive, anxiety, alcohol use, drug use, and eating disorders, in addition to schizophrenia. DALYs are used to measure total burden of disease - both from years of life lost and years lived with a disability. One DALY equals one lost year of healthy life.
